This Can't Be The Usa, Today! Poem by Sandra Feldman

This Can't Be The Usa, Today!

Rating: 5.0

Corruption, Destruction
Wham!
A kick in the gut
Crime, Dishonesty and Spam
Thru the roof,
'So, what do you think,
Mr. Kazam? '
New hero of oppressed
Cats and Mases,
While the country drowns
In a sea of molasses,
Sticky, Dirty, Immoral
Pases,
Becoming,
Just a ball of Slime,
With no Reason
And no Future,
And no Rhyme!

' But it can't, be! '
Said Joan Crawford
Starring in horror film
'Whatever Happened
To Baby Jane? '
While Bette Davis
Squawked her
Answer:
' But it is, Blanch
It Is! '
