They Care About Me Poem by Tyrone Gayle

They Care About Me

Dear, leather Jacket, black gloves, and purple scarf,
Without your sweet embraces of warmth I am so soft,
Because this weather makes me want to cry and barf,
Oh I wish it was like a switch that I could turn off.

So bear with me, I know these requests are getting old,
But again, I need you guys to keep me warm from the cold,
Your sizzling hugs are worth more than a planet of gold,
Why? You are my friends who deter fear and make me bold.

Never read a poem written for one's cold weather wear before! It's kind of cute actually. Quirky and fun!
