There's Nothing Left Here Anymore Poem by Daniel Wittfoth

There's Nothing Left Here Anymore

The clock on the wall
reminds me of all the time lost
So tired of the days slipping away
fading into empty memories of yesterday
No reason to stay
no reason for these unwanted emotions to remain
So tired of these tears falling down
this lonliness dwelling within
No use in pretending things will change
no use in ignoring what's right in front of me
So tired of all the what if's
and did I truly give it my all
Got one hand on the door
just one more step
that's all it would take
That's what I keep telling myself
there's nothing left here anymore
there's nothing left here anymore...

Daniel, this is so sad and so wonderful. I can feel it in the center of my chest 'cause I've been there too. Great work! Christopher
