For looking at the unfairness of the world,

There's a price to pay,
When your emotions run deep.
There's a price to pay,
When you connect from the core.
There's a price to pay,
When you love with every inch of you.

The world will take advantage,
You will be used,
You will shed tears,
You will feel misplaced,
You will be betrayed,
Your soul will be tested,
Your heart will be broken,
And you will question your very existence.

Yes, there's a price to pay,
For feeling so deeply.
Especially when your soul is connected to everything that surrounds you.
