There Is A Storm Brewing, Child Poem by Jonathan Land

There Is A Storm Brewing, Child

Rating: 3.0

There is a
strom brewing, child.
Do not grace me with
disbelief in your eyes,
this time. And better yet
believe me for once.
There is a storm
brewing, child!
To the north, just beyond
the mountains.
Hide, lest it find
you, unprepared.
Would you rather it
to be just outside the window.
looking back at you?
Would you then be inclined
to do something?
My dear little girl, the
greatest clouds are amassing,
gathering strength. And while
it is by my doing that
they have so begun, to
stop them I cannot.
Child, I know you are now
imprisoned deep inside the
grown body I so adore.
And just for that
you are the only one
who can stop
the distruction ahead.
You may save yourself
and me, in the proccess.
If you please,
you may do it just for
me, but never forget
it is up to you.
