With a pen and paper I sat
To scribble on the emptiness of life
Words echoed in my ears…
'faith' 'truth' 'peace' 'love'... meaningless.
A short pause here in Earth;
Not knowing from where we started
And to where?
Fights for nothing
Killing not for hunger
But for killing!
Still barbaric, worse than animals
Some where I felt a pain of Humanness,
I drowned myself into a world of unseen unity
And heard unheard songs of Love
Saw humans there…
A voice "no sugar for tea' carried me back,
There stood she with a list of provisions
I enlisted them on the paper.
Universality will always be a utopia
Reality stared with all its horror.
