Since they are not religious in any way
They never go to a house of worship to pray
But even the atheist who is moral and kind
Is one who does possess a god of the mind
Though no interest in god or religion she or he never show
An atheist too can have the inner glow
They may not realize it but they have their god within
The journey to god in the mind does begin
So many believe that god is out there
In a paradise in the sky beyond the stars somewhere
But the generous god always willing to give
In the mind of every good person does live
Every good person who is generous and kind
Does have in them their own god of the mind.
