The Yin And It's Yang Poem by Shirow Walker

The Yin And It's Yang

What a strange fellow.
His essence seems to be of wants and needs and dreams and hope.
Selfish at the core, hateful in his ways.
In all a walking contradiction.
This fellow I know all too well.
In one the same, but apart.
As if to watch him would be to watch a globe from the outside while standing in it.
He is beyond comprehension this fellow.
My friend.
At times, I will for awhile forget of all his misdeeds and let him free out of his cage
Until at last he again has done wrong
Not to me, never to me
And I remember him for who he is
It is human to forget,
and that is where I see us to be the same.
He is a living shell
I am the cold core, meticulous in all my ways,
Forever patient and watching.
