The World Quakes, We Need To Wake. Poem by James Bloom

The World Quakes, We Need To Wake.

Christmas was over.
What had came over?
A day of lost and destruction.
At a time of no eruption.
The year was going to end in peace.
Families came together to see their niece.
The love ones was stuck with nowhere to go.
Unaware of what's happening they don't know.
The world looks in pain and anger.
It all happened so fast like a banger.
We need faith, who still believes?
They won't be here tomorrow our mind deserves.
The ground shook with a quake.
People were asleep on a beach they didn't wake.
The tide came in and took lives away.
It's hard to explain what can I say?
It was like the sea was hit by one big mortar
Please give to those who are suffering and need water.
