The Wonderful Devil Poem by Tamell Bailey

The Wonderful Devil

The Wonderful Devil

Isn’t she lovely,
- So wonderful,
A gift from heaven
Descended to use below.
She’s not of this earth,
Uncountable is her worth.
The fluids of her loins
Quench my unbearable thirst.

Isn’t she lovely,
- So wonderful,
Her summit to her
Deepest valley so beautiful.
The Lord himself was
Amazed to create
This angel of perfection that
He brings me this day.

...BUT...

Isn’t she hateful
- So devilish,
A burden from below
Ascended from hell’s ashes
Love is alien to her heart
She values being dark
If empathy keeps one dry, then
She’s wetter than Noah’s Ark.

Isn’t she hateful
- So devilish,
Her emotions as hard
As freshly dried cement.
The day of her birth was a
Celebration for Satan.
The day of her DEATH I will
Wait for with patience.
