The Wind, It Cries Poem by Jan Jarnigan

The Wind, It Cries

The wind is blowing
Through the land~~~
The wind bends low
To every man~~~
Declaring
Love and majesty.

It whistles in the willow~~~
And cries
Of secrets
From the ages,
Going forth
With softness,
Caresses,
Yet determination.

Oh, Wind~~~
Where do you go?
Lovers move with you
And the lonely
Feel your call.

The Wind~~It cries,
The Wind~~It sighs,
'I love you.'
