Hey guess what
The war is through
We made out alive
Me and you
He got her to fall
Shes backing off
He finally decided
I'd been through enough
So now we can live
Now we can breathe
We don't have to worry
About having to leave
Shes not out to get us
She can't hurt us now
He got her to leave us alone
I'm still not sure how
But it doesn't matter
We can calm down
Theres no more river of hell
We aren't going to drown
Even when our hope was out
Even when our strength was gone
We kept out heads high
We moved along
So for that we're free
We can rejoice again
We made it out of the war
We can be at peace again
