The War Poem by Timothy Long

The War

There have been so many, blood and smoke sither around, war comes and go, the bullet holes saturated the emetics of the people, leaving scars on the heart at us all, north and south, is good anywhere to be found, living half a life, let's get peace one more time, collecting hearts to tear apart, the tyrants don't rain here but why should the violence of tyrants be here as free as the country can be, the birds soar over the dead waving goodbye in heavens halo, if leaving a past will you remember them, we saved them in memory and spirit in over minds,40+ the bloodiest years ever known to history, still in their eyes, to decaying factors rules our mother earth; love wall all we knew, crying to remember when and how, giving our hearts if was hard, it was joying hints the war never ended, bringing back thoughts to never give up.
