The Veil Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

The Veil

Will you meet me on the morrow where the river meets the dale?

With warm golden rolls and wild berries spread, and the tallest of all tall tales.

Then drinking tea and honey, from sun and sea kissed shells.

We at last share the wine, tip a bountiful glass, and lift this unnatural veil.

Yes Rini one might think that this is sheer poetic romanticism and yet I say to this are there not berries? Is there not a sun and easy blanket spread before glad smiles, why must such moments be considered so rare? All things are possible when time is easily arrested and a simple feast easily gathered is shared. Rich simplicity is savored and cherished and all cares slip away.

Thank God for this poem! I want to taste those warm golden rolls and eat the wild berry spread! The last line is so romantic and full of love. WOW! Glad I read this. The unnatural veil gone. Let go of silly convention and embrace live, love, ALL of it.... It's natural.
