The Valley Of Doom Poem by Kelvin Rush

The Valley Of Doom

Give me your hand let's get out of this room
I'll show you what goes off in the valley of doom
You might be shocked when you see the despair
Starving children are everywhere

If you bury your head and hide away
What's the point of living you'll just rot and decay
If you're broken down every time you feel shame
You may as well die right now don't prolong the pain

We can all look back with regret and remorse
We can beat ourselves up it's all part of the course
But one thing is certain we'll never find our way
While this crazy world leads us all astray

No man alive can take your soul
You may act like a slave give away control
But while ever there is fear and death to consume
We're all a victim in the valley of doom
