The Unsung Song Poem by David James

The Unsung Song

Rating: 5.0

Supersede love from lust as we lie free;
sincerely aware and perplexed in doubt.
The pretender of the sea; readily
ready for sleepless sleeps as we lie free.

Please Compare nothing of note to thine arms,
which hold-est thou, bitter memories, bereft.

So closure now your protected and safe;
Unbeknownst to your ghost of us I hold.

This song finds it hard to escape thine mind.
This song finds it hard to escape thine lips.
This bitter song sung to escape, good-byes.
