The Unhinged Poem by G J Salgado

The Unhinged

He had the worst smirk on his face she had ever seen
The one that she wanted to drop kick right off of his face
So she did one day; right after he beat her for the last time
Then she knocked the door off of its hinges
While she slammed it as she walked out
Stepping on his teeth while they slid across the floor
She never once looked back
