When we were together
We thought it would be forever
Months went by with nothing wrong
In this time I can say
You’ve bewitched me
I couldn’t live without you
I couldn’t even breathe with out you
Couldn’t sleep until I heard your voice
I missed you until the next day
Until one day
You turn your back on me
Then our love began to fall
Like the night rain
My tears came falling down
Knowing my heart was beating for you
You leave me with a broken heart
Tears falling now day and night
My heart aching feels as if
A dagger stabbed my heart
I gave everything to you
And you make me feel
As if my love was nothing
Taking it and making me think
That what we had was great
But it was nothing but a lie
The words I spoke were true
And they were what I felt
You say it was the same for you
Reality opened my eyes
I saw what you really were
A two face lair
Getting peoples hope up high
About how love should be
Trying to understand love
When I had the answer
You still walked away
Because my love was too great
And my tears fell they were
The tears of the New Year
