The Stumbling Blocks Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

The Stumbling Blocks

The court of my conscience doesn't need an affidavit
As and when I plead it for justice on my actions;
And I don't like to produce any certificate
For maintaining any relationships with others;
I am henceforth exempted from all such documents
Because I am a tired senior citizen waiting
On the departure lounge for my scheduled final flight;
All the best to all the bureaucratic stumbling blocks!

(Composed with 13-Syllable lines)
