The Struggles From Within Poem by Kenny Lamb

The Struggles From Within

Shimmer in the darkness,
Drowning in the morrow,
Free yourself from sorrow,
Will you be there tomorrow,
I'll always be waiting for the day you come back,

Are you my end?
Screaming with the aging choirs,
Wishing I can still pretend,
Tell me what you most desire,
Do you weep for me?
I will weep for you,
I have always been here,
Will you weep for me?

I am here now,
You are dead now,
I was too late to save us,
Save us from this menace,
I lost you once,
We've shared this dance together,
We fear not deaths embrace,

On the brink of insanity,
Our only regret is the masses we have poisoned,
The seed of truth is born,
They feed on the hate we provide,
Who are you?
Who am I?
I am you.
