The Stolen Air Poem by Agbola Oluseyi

The Stolen Air

An enemy of the eyes befriending the skin
Widely opened to all within the globe
Running aimlessly from nowhere to nowhere
Encapsulated by a part of the whole
To provide service for all to pay
And the stolen ear like a freed enslaved
Works for the wealth of the determined few
Extracting from the meagre source of the wanting standby
For they could not but wonder what.
