The Song Of Death Poem by Shamik Kumar Bose

The Song Of Death

The Song of Death
--------

Like two eyes of an Owl inside a frozen death of darkness
She precipitates in sublime echoing the hollowness of night
Death! Now my shadow beyond a day sings incessant
Waves tumble in a lonely shore in least expectation
Inside a lion's cage roars melting a lion's heart
Piles of snow begin to melt in one warmth of an Ocean's heart.

Death! The most abominable yet sincere fate
Resounds in an echo across all the caves
O Sweet honey! Come down inside me in a spell of sweetness
O Sweet Love! Spread your despair inside all my veins
O Sweet Fate! Accept my all humble surrenders
Allowest me to dive into thy deepest
Like no one hast ever before

Allowest me to usurp all the fragrances smelt in Blue
Like no one hast ever before
O Death! Put all your cold courages inside
Dare to sprint inside unknown clouds
Amidst unheard lands
Let me Dare like no one
Let me Dare like no dream had ever silkened my senses
Let me be a senseless for ever
O Sweetened Death! Let me be a senseless for ever.
