The Silence Of Chineke(God) Poem by Ologunde Joshua Abiodun

The Silence Of Chineke(God)

It's enough to drive a man crazy
It could break a man's faith
Could make Him wonder in lament:
If life still worth living

His heart bleeds for comfort
But his only answer;
As silent as a dead stone,
His the Silence of God

It could shake a man's temper
And all he could flashback;
Is what broke him apart
Which birth the Silence of God

Down town, he went
A Church nearby he entered
Staring at a statue of ancient mode
Of Christ the crucified

But all he could hear
His the Silence of God.
Out to the Hill of Content
Kneeling-faced to the sky

With the bank of tears in his eyes
And remembering what birth God Silence in his life
As He reconciled his salvation
With tear and sober mindedly.
