I have seen love arrive
When it was least expected
But once you find it
You want so much to protect it

You want to hold it close
Safe within your heart
It's a wonderful emotion
You don't want to see it part

But sometimes we must face
The fact that love sometimes goes
If and when it will happen
No one really knows

So when love comes to you
Enjoy it all you can
But don't ever treat love
As just a flash in the pan

You may find someone
Who's love will last forever
Than you may just enjoy
A sweet life long endeavor

Sharing life through the years
With someone that you love
You may not realize it at the time
But this is what dreams are made of

I'm sure a lifetime of love
To many would sound pleasing
To have the same hand to hold
As life passes through it's season's
