The Royal Rose Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

The Royal Rose

A flower so beautiful,
The royal red rose held aloft
Above it's fawning leaves.
Absorbing the sun's burning glow
Through it's many petals
Making the energy it's own.
Protected by sentinel thorns
Against any who dare
To climb majesty's chair.
