The Ripple That Returned Poem by Arunesh Goswami

The Ripple That Returned

i see you my beloved
i see your magical eyes
staring deep into my soul
in the mystical twilight,
the blades of love
piercing my heart into numerous pieces
the silence between us raises
innumerable possibilities to begin
a felicitation of our unexpected mingling;
yet this even the lake is as mystic as always
dark and lonesome, the ripples that sail forth
donot return.
but the melody of my spirit moves to your tune
the beat of my heart claps with your song
the reason of me my love
is none but you, to love you, you alone;
and the storm vanishes off to the past
in the jugglery of life O holy i feel your touch
come and embrace me, take me away
for thy ripple to its journey home
is home today.
