The Raindrop

If I could sense
a drop's
descent
I'd try
from near
then far
then nearer
to touch with tongue
and taste
that raindrop's
fall
upon her breast

the crystal
shatters
sprinkling
droplets
everywhere
about her bounty

and I
a solemn gaze
do stare for days
at nothing
