The Rain Is Speaking Poem by Jeri Martindale

The Rain Is Speaking

Rating: 4.5

The wind blows, I know! Exactly what does this beautiful day have in store?

The rain pours down softly from the clouds, yet such a beautiful day rests just outside that door. It would seem the sun would soon rise to shine down its healing rays upon the damp ground.

The rain sings its songs and washes everything clean, leaving all that it touches sparkling. Soon the fog comes rolling in, it engulfs all in its path, inviting all to enter it's walls so that it can wrap it's arms around them. Touching their skin softly surrounding, emmersed in the thick fog, outstanding.

The rain has stopped, the clouds remain. The fog is now lifting, releasing the pain that held on so tightly now floating into nothing at all. Memories still linguring in the back of the mind now lay silently no longer wanting to be set free.

The clouds, in deep thought, staring up at them realizing that sometimes the bad days are the most beautiful. Everything washed clean, getting lost in between. Staring up toward the sky where now a touch of blue can be seen as it appears a peek of its radiant light begins to escape through the clouds... Down come those beautiful rays touhing, warming lighting the day.
