When I saw you standing
alone and in the dark
I understood your reasons
I knew we'd have to part.

How can anyone take the places which you
have filled in my life for so long?
My life will be so empty
I know I can't go on.

On the evening when we first met
To the day our lives will part
There's a feeling
I've kept down inside me
Locked in the depths of my heart.

Love will come and go so many times
this I know is true
But the love like yours and mine
the parting will leave me blue.

Soon I must go away
There's nothing I can say.

It seems the world has passed us by
The tears that fall, we don't know why.
The dreams I've had, they still remain,
Our parting now will cause such pain.

Now I can say I love you
indeed I really care.
If I could have one moment
There's something Id like to share...

My feeling will never stop pouring out
No matter how far apart.
And when I say I LOVE YOU
It's from the bottom of my heart
