The Parking Lot Oak Tree Poem by Nick krakana

The Parking Lot Oak Tree

Rating: 5.0

A lonelier site you may not see
Than the imprisonment of the mighty oak tree
Surrounded by black top
For autos to be

No grass in sight
Could not deter its might
From reaching her height
Except for one thing

No companion of trees
To share in the sunlight
Or a warm summer breeze
On a moon August night

Still she casts her shadow
There lonely and tall
A testiment of strenght
She'll outlast us all
