The Pain Of Love Poem by James Lee Watts

The Pain Of Love

Rating: 0.8

It hurt so much to see her bleed,
I tried to help her, but what did she need?
As time heals the pain,
I suddenly feel that I’m no longer insane,

And I finally give a smile,
Something I haven’t done in such a while,
The pain goes numb, but scars still show,
Something inside me no-one will ever no,

My emotions have taken a big fall,
But I pick myself up and stand up tall,
With my family and friends by my side,
There’s no need to cry or hide,

I wish it didn’t happen but I can’t take it back,
But the noise still echoes, when her head went crack,
So I get by with the help of you,
Being my friend, forever true.
