The Only Constant Poem by Ray Hansell

The Only Constant

The pages of my life
Continue to turn
Looking back at what I've done
All the things I never learned

No matter what I faced
No matter how hard the times
You were always there
To help ease my mind

You tried to help me see
In times when I refused
You somehow made things clear
In times when I was confused

There's so much I owe to you
And probably always will
But through it all
You're here with me still

I see as life goes on
Each turn of a page is new
The only constant thing for sure
Has always been you
