The One (Dedicated To Someone Special) Poem by Tina Dang

Be with you till the morning sun,
Still loving you when the day is done,
Sometimes saying I love you never seems enough,
Especially when times are rough, then it gets a lil tough.
Many nights over the phone, I try and hold on to your voice but it slowly lingers,
If only I can hold on, kiss, or simply touch you with the tips of my fingers.
I want to be your shelter through bad stormy weather,
We can overcome anything as long as we work it out together.
Let me be the one that loves and cures you when you are sick,
It’s a token of my appreciation knowing that you are not into dicks. (lol)
I smile when I see you and when I don’t I miss you,
I think of you and recite this “roses are red, violets are blue, as much as I love you, I really gotta poo! ”
I enjoy spending every moment with you even though the distance separates us and we are far apart;
However, I feel indifferent, as far as you are I feel you closer than ever cuz you remain in my heart.
I’ve fallen for this beautiful girl from Washington State.
I feel like she is the one, my love, possibly my soul mate.
Kodi May Ramyke is her name, oh how I long and yearn for your touch.
Hopefully one day we’ll meet, so I can show and tell you that I love you sooo much!
