The Ocean Poem by Matthew Holloway

The Ocean

Rating: 5.0

looking out across the ocean
a mind wanders upon the waves
to far distant lands, lives and loves
to escape from this island
I envy the seagull and the whale
both know such freedoms
and travel such oceans
it is a thing of beauty, life
when you see it
and when you feel it
then words can't describe
it becomes all, everything
something so beautiful
and I am a man sat writing
watching the ocean
