The Nature Poem by hema thasapalan

'A bird does not sing because it has an answer;
It sings because it has a song.' - chinese proverb
A sage does not give an answer
because he is the answer
in the way he live, speaks, or work
the divine love that he allows to flow
through him and to us
we seek answers to many things
refusing to see the truth facing us in the eye
a child pulls a prank not because he is naughty
because it is his child nature
a scorpion stings you not because it wants to
because it is its nature to do so
i wonder why i write these words
and the answer comes
it is meant to be written
