The Mules Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

The Mules

Rating: 5.0

Mules, poor beings,
Dedicated lives
Destined to carry loads,
Loads of soiled clothes
Of stinky sins.
Without right of choice
Bear hopes and hopelessness
Luck and ill-luck
Abundance and poverty.
No aristocratic ancestry
Neither horse nor donkey

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
There are people in our society who toil to make a life, who. Are very meanly looked upon by creamy layer

Yeah, you are right. They are born to take loads. Can't change their life style too. Very nice poem.
