The Mother Of All Life Forms Poem by Francis Duggan

The Mother Of All Life Forms

The artists and the writers she always does inspire
And of singing her praises the poets never tire
The Goddess of all Seasons Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Amazing Mother Nature the one who feeds us all.

The mother of all life forms though with that many may disagree
There is none greater than her or so 'twould seem to me
Out there on her deep waterway that slowly crawls towards the sea
Her waterbirds are feeding of stress they do seem free.

Were I even a minor poet about her I would write
A poem that at poetry reading I would feel glad to recite
Of the great Goddess of Nature greater of I do not know
With every day of my life my wonder of her grow.

Not alone does she feed us all but such beauty she create
This is a song to Nature her we ought to celebrate
She is the one who feeds us all does that seem fair to say
I loved her when I was a boy and I love her today.
