The Mermaid

Come now child
Graveyards are not to be played in about,
Even fairies are fearful of their dark omen,
Suppose it's only right that you should too.
I saw how the dead gazed upon you,
With malevolence and envy,
and with an insatiable desire to lure you under and bed you into eternity.
Come now child
The mermaids saw you cry at the river before,
Why now show me of a blank face,
When your pain bleeds your heart.
Hearts are fragile things you see,
when they break, they are hard to mend back,
Only true love can staple their parts together.

Loss is not to be toyed
For the mermaids brought you back your tears
Crying upside down the world
We could both be friends
For I too lost dearly
Days too will be blackened by their faint clouds of horror
Sieges you who wish to murmur among them
For those tears pleases those who no more breaths with us

Come now child
Roses come not to blossom for us
For in our sight dawn become dusk
Pain and sorrow we've only met as our companion
It saddens me more to see one of my kind
Young yet endowed with pain of years
Only endured by ghosts of soldiers
Who savagely killed their opponent
Yet did the mermaids returned
Grace of the fallen ones
Time sand of blood and bones
Imaginable enough your pains are worth million souls

The ocean has stood still
And it quivered not in our muse
For beyond the darkness
We are feared
Yet these mermaids will still bring back your tears
For they too wish not to be contaminated
With our black pains, sorrow and hatred

Come now child
Hang loose your rope
And jump to your eternal darkness of sleep
Come now child
Soon will the pains and sorrows be gone
Come now child
The mermaid's patience is not an everlasting one.....
