I went out on a limb,
So far out of comfort and home,
And said three single words.
Yet, I feel so empty, so stupid,
Because I got not one reply.

Why do I seem to never cease,
Making myself get hurt?
Because I said three single words,
I feel so awkward and alone,
Because I got not one reply.

Why can't some people believe,
In things they've never seen?
I said three single words,
That apparently do not exist,
And got not one reply.

Three single words.
That got not one reply.
I start to question,
Why do I even try?
