The Lonely Ones Poem by Richa Tiwari Joshi

The Lonely Ones

The lonely ones, who weep in the dark alleys of their heart, look like everyone else,
the night is what they love where they hide all their wounds,
night is what they celebrate even if at a cost of being burnt,
The agony of pain rushes through from the wounds they thought were healed.

The lonely one who need you but can't say for they don't trust they can be healed.
Their only hope was love but someone has hidden all the love away in an island where nobody goes anymore.
The lonely ones live in that island hoping one day the forgetful lovers will return and caress their wounded souls with the love that they promised.
