The Line Artist Poem by Charnen Postrano

The Line Artist

Have you ever wondered how lines are formed?
A line that is placed on a person's canvas,
A line that is owned by a line artist's canvas.
His a professional in lines, and it's not even his profession.

Watching thee forming a straight line,
And after forming it to daylight.
I love the way his lines form the light in the day.
I love the way his lines warm my cold hearted being,
And replacing it to a genuine joyful heat.

I love watching thee, painting its canvas with a curved line,
Making him my favorite piece of art in every colorful light.
His canvas is my favorite, and I would pay millions to gaze at it.
Beside 'starry night', I would pour my soul into the curve line.

The curve line the line artist forms effortlessly,
The curve line the line artist didn't know how many hearts melted.
I can compare thy lines to the smile of Mona Lisa,
Mysterious, yet gorgeous in the eyes of Leonardo.
