The Last Dance Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

The Last Dance

The exhilaration was nothing,
But the ephemeral wine of the night.
The night's struggle ended, with
The figurative expression in abstract.
The eyes would gaze into it, sans
Your figure and be lost in the fragrance.
