The Human Herd Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Human Herd

How unappreciated
Are so many, who
Have tried to be
Teachers, Mentors
Preachers of good word
And works,
Behaving with true solidarity,
Creators of better lives and things
But they are so many times,
Abused
So often misunderstood
So much hate, under life's hood,
So much incomprehension adding to
Social unrest and insecurity, too!

Why?
Because They, the Just
Had discovered
That in the ruling class
There were many others,
Not only wrong
But with very bad intentions
Of control and false redemption.

Such an unfair World!
Made up of so much Injustice!
Just to control and dominate
The Wild Human Herd,
Thoroughly and totally,
Unbalanced and Absurd.
