The Hiding Sea
The sea
.... blue serenity
... a flat indigo plane of
peace
concealing shale and shoals
and shallows
hiding volcanoes
currents icebergs
fissures..
whales and octopi
occasionally reflecting
clouds in the sky
like slight shades of
feeling in the eyes
or the unrevealing
face of a scorpio
