The Hardest Things Poem by Katherine Robbins

The Hardest Things

The hardest things aren't being in trouble when you're supposed to go out with your friends.
The hardest things aren't standing in front of a crowd of people and having to speak, all alone.
The hardest things aren't making up with someone after a big fight over nothing.
The hardest things aren't forgiving someone when they're wrong and they've hurt you.

These are not the hardest things in life, but there are some that are harder.

One of the hardest things are, not being there for a friend in their time of need.
One of the harderst things are, not being able to say good-bye to someone you'll never see again.

The hardest things in life usually hurt the most and leave scars.

To help with the hardest things in life try to remember there three things:

To be able to be there for a friend, is to keep in touch and try to be there as much as possible.
You may not be able to cure all hurts and pains, but you can help by listening to what they have to say.
And to spend time with those you love and tell them how much you care.

Keeping these in mind might help with the pain and scars from the hardest things.
Being a true friend all the time, listening to someone who needs help, and spending time with loved ones.

Also remember, that those who don't listen are scared of change and new ideas.
Those who are quiet usually have something good to share with the world.
And usually those who spend time with loved ones, find they truelly are older and wiser.

Open your heart and remember what you have read, and maybe it just might help with the haredest things.
