The Hand You'Ve Been Dealt Poem by Beautifully Unknown

The Hand You'Ve Been Dealt

You say no one can have the best of you
So you make everyone pay for their mistakes
You've been beaten, broken, twisted, and used
So you sit there smiling
Making your friends and family confused
You make them believe that you're doing just fine
But in reality you're dieing inside
You say that you're happy
But you say it with a tremble in your voice
And shift your eyes
You try to hide your true self in more and more lies
You try to scream
But no sound comes out
So you try to cut yourself
But no blood pours out
You keep telling yourself you're trying
But really all you're doing is...
Playing the hand you've been dealt
