The Great Power Of Silence Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Great Power Of Silence

Rating: 3.5

it merely looks
takes more time
premeditating
what next to
devour and
you
the great one
complacent
about your fame
does not mind

the hands of silence
grab you
into its mouth

you shout
there is no voice
coming out

you struggle
there is no exit
from its belly

you come out
at the end
as insignificant
as a short-time
fart
