The Gossiping Queens Of The Castro District Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

The Gossiping Queens Of The Castro District

So few who knew
A secret told
Like morning dew
On grass too cold

Were wet with shame
As word spread out
For whose to blame
When truth is doubt

Then those that trust
An ear for creed
Will bite the dust
As sunrays bleed

Till long before
What words were said
An open door
Unlocks the head
To
A secret dead.
