The Gospel Machinery

The gospel machinery
Is, still functional today
Missonaries, pastors, laymen
Still preach and watch and pray

Holy Spirit anointing
Keeps it all well greased
Although it might move slowly
Its movement has not ceased

The gates of hell have not prevailed
The truth keeps marching on
Sustained by Jesus Christ Himself
Our Lord, our strength, our song

Life changing in its message
Repent, believe, be saved
For our God so loved the world
His precious Son He gave

Lord press this burden on our hearts
One thing that counts! What cost!
Whomsoever believes not on Christ
Eternally is lost!

Renew my passion, Lord I pray
May I live for Thee
Be exalted in my life
May Christ be seen in me
