The Gentleman In The Bolo Tie Poem by Alexandre Nodopaka

The Gentleman In The Bolo Tie

The tale of the man who rode in
the taxicab and the account
by Rahim, the Persian driver,
was that his client was returning
from the funeral of his wife and

upon further asking him where
he was from he replied that
Arkansas was too far for him to die
and when questioned where
he resided the old man answered

that Leisure World wasn't fit
for another Sheherezade.
When inquired whether he loved her
he whimpered he didn't want
to live much longer.
